Biopharmaceutical contract manufacturer Angel Biotechnology Holdings has asked for trading in its shares to be suspended and says that it is about to go into administration.

Angel has been seeking a partner for its manufacturing business and talks with a consortium have come to nothing. Angel had been anticipating a £1m cash injection from a deal. This means that Angel is short of cash.

The share price fell 0.005p to 0.05p prior to the suspension, which values Angel at £1.89m.
