ANT / Amino Technologies

Kestrel Opportunities Fund, a cell of Guernsey Portfolios PCC Ltd, increased its stake in IPTV firm Amino Technologies to 9.12% as rival firm ANT, where Kestrel owns 12.9%, is the subject of a bid from Canada-based Espial.

Kestrel will raise just over £642,000 from the 20.5p a share bid for ANT.

ANT is valued at £4.98m at the bid price, while TSX-listed Espial’s market capitalisation is C$13.9m. Amino is larger than the other two businesses put together. At 57p a share, Amino is valued at £33m.
