Aim adviser Arden Partners improved its profit in the year to October 2013 and it has reinstated the final dividend. 

Revenues rose from £9.79m to £10.1m and profit jumped from £211,000 to £1.34m. The final dividend is 1.75p a share, taking the total for the year to 3p a share, against 0.65p a share the previous year.

The mix of revenues has changed with corporate finance revenues increasing from £3.36m to £5.06m, with £1.4m generated from one client. Arden raised £283m for clients last year. The equities division was hit by lower commission rates.

At 63p a share, Arden is valued at £14m. Net cash was £3.73m at the end of October 2013, after spending £1.32m on acquiring its own shares.
