Aim adviser Arden Partners says it is no longer in bid talks.

It also warns that its full year revenues will decline. Corporate finance income in the year to October 2008 will be lower than the previous year. Management predicts break even in the second half after exceptional costs and share option charges. First half profits halved to £1.37m.

These two factors combined to cause the share price to almost halve. It fell 40p to 43p, which values Arden at £10.6m. The company had cash of £8.15m at the end of April.
