Bglobal chairman Peter Kennedy has taken an executive role at the company, which has also appointed corporate financier Steven Fawkes as a non-executive director.
Kennedy will take the lead with investor relations and become more active in the strategy of the business.
Fawkes currently works for Matrix Corporate Capital and specialises in energy and clean technology. Bglobal believes it will benefit from his expertise. Matrix was formerly joint broker to the company.
On 24 September, Bglobal acquired Wales-based Draig Technology, which supplies billing and CRM software that is already sold by Bglobal’s Utilisoft subsidiary. Bglobal is paying £675,000 for Draig, whose revenues were £435,000 in the year to May 2012. The acquisitions will help with the development of Bglobal’s pay as you go meter service.
At 10.88p a share, Bglobal is valued at £11.6m.
