Finance director Chris Roberts has stepped down from the board of Aim adviser Blue Oar.

Blue Oar is the subject of an all-share bid from Aim-quoted Evolve Capital, which has the backing of a number of former Blue Oar/Corporate Synergy directors and managers. Roberts was finance director when these people were still with Blue Oar.

Roberts has been replaced as finance director by Peter Joy, who joined the company when it acquired Astaire & Partners earlier this year.

Blue Oar shares were unchanged at 9p each, which values the company at £15m. Evolve shares are trading at 9.5p each, which values its bid at £16.2m.
