Blue Star Mobile

Mobile phone marketing services provider Blue Star Mobile still hasn’t been paid by the customer that owes it £125,000.

This disputed payment was written off as a bad debt in the interim figures but management appeared to believe that it could secure payment. Blue Star is still working for the customer on some activities but major projects have been put on hold.

This will have “a significant effect” on Blue Star’s full year results. It seems that it will be hard pressed to report a profit in the year to March 2008.

Blue Star had net cash of £163,000 at the end of September 2007. This leaves it with little headroom for disappointments.

The shares were trading at an all-time low of 3.75p and they fell a further 1.5p to 2.25p.
