TV programmes producer Boomerang Plus says that the second half of the financial year to May 2011 was busier than expected.

The year was originally expected to be first half weighted. Boomerang Plus has grown organically and this has been supplemented by the acquisition of Indus and this strong trading has continued into the new financial year. Factual programming producer Oxford Scientific Films was acquired in June.

At 55p a share, up 4.5p, Boomerang Plus is valued at 4.9m.

Full year figures will be published in the second half of September.
