BrainJuicer Group says that its 2008 figures will be ahead of expectations.

December has always been a busy month for BrainJuicer. Revenues in 2008 grew by more than 40% to over £9m, while operating profits are 45% higher at more than £1.2m. This growth was completely organic.

Shares in the online market research agency rose 7.5p to 100.5p each, which values the company at £12.7m.

Growth was across the board and supplemented by a new office in Switzerland and a licensing agreement in Australia.

A new office is planned in Germany. High Level Research has licensed BrainJuicer’s products for the Canadian market. If this business achieves performance targets by 2013 then BrainJuicer will pay C$900,000 for it.

Full year figures will be released on 19 March.

Edison forecasts 2008 profits of £1.3m, rising to £1.7m in 2009. The shares are trading on 15 times 2008 earnings, falling to 11 in 2009. That means that BrainJuicer is no longer on the heady rating it was a year ago.
