Anti microbial hygiene technology developer Byotrol has signed a licence agreement with Tommee Tippee, the baby products manufacturer.

The Byotrol technology will be used in the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature branded product range. Sales will start at the beginning of 2011.

Byotrol reported a drop in revenues from £2m to £922,000 in the six months to September 2010. Underlying product sales edged ahead and the corresponding period benefited from swine flu related sales and higher licence fees.

Net cash was £3.19m at the end of September 2010. That includes the £3.7m net raised at 15p a share in August.

At 16p a share, Byotrol is valued at £17.7m.
