Anti microbial hygiene technology developer Byotrol has extended the scope of its agreement with household cleaning products supplier McBride and it is expected to end up being a full licence agreement.

The agreement covers the joint development of residual action liquid disinfectants in the European market. The first product should be launched by this summer and there will be other household care products launched during the year.

Byotrol says Tommy Tippee sanitising baby products are already being sold in the UK and a licence agreement has been signed with PZ Cussons, which covers Byotrol-based all purpose cleaners in Nigeria.

At 14p a share, up 0.25p, Byotrol is valued at £15.5m.
