Healthcare services provider CareCapital Group has signed an agreement with Varigen to use its technology related to genetic testing for diagnostics and personalised medicine.

CareCapital will use the technology at its Folkestone women’s health medical centre. Varigen will receive 30% or revenues generated from the services, after operating costs.

The technology will be used for diagnosing and treating cancer.

At 1p a share, CareCapital is valued at £1.63m.

Trevor Brown has been building up his stake in CareCapital following its dilution after a dilutive placing at 1.5p a share. Brown owns 9.38% of the company. Peter Gyllenhammar also owns just over 9% of CareCapital.
