Central Rand Gold Ltd is losing its Aim quotation because trading in the shares has been suspended for six months.
This means that the proposed £750,000 placing will not go ahead. Central Rand remains listed on the JSE but this will be assessed because of the cost.
The board had secured a deal with lenders, which would have swapped its mining assets for a restructured debt. The fact that the placing has not gone ahead could mean that this deal does not go ahead.
