China Eastsea Business Software Ltd

China Eastsea Business Software says it will report higher than expected full year revenues but profits will still be relatively disappointing.

The IT and business process outsourcing software and services provider says that revenues will be £10.6m in the year to February 2009. China Eastsea will report a profit of £250,000 but that is after an exchange gain of £700,000.

Full year revenues of £8m had been forecast but the profit was expected to be £700,000.

Revenues fell 6% to £3.7m in the six months to August 2008. The interim profit was £108,000 after foreign exchange gains of £252,000.

Shares in China Eastsea fell 0.5p to 9.5p each, which values the company at £7.34m.

The results will be reported on 25 June 2009.
