Stephen Bellamy has become a non-executive director of Clarity Commerce less than eight months after he lost an EGM vote to elect him to the board.
Bellamy was involved with the shareholders who requisitioned an EGM to remove the chief executive and have their nominees appointed to the board. The shares have halved since the EGM at the end of May 2007. The chief executive has since left the company.
Bellamy owns 2.2% of the retail and hospitality software provider. He used to be chief operating officer of software company Sherwood International and is currently a non-executive at Aim-quoted Advanced Medical Solutions.
