Security services provider Croma Group says that its revenues were one-fifth higher at £8.5m in the year to June 2011 but that still means that second half revenues declined.

Revenues increased from £2.26m to £4.29m in the six months to December 2010. Second half revenues were similar to the first half.

At 1.7p a share, up 0.23p, Croma is valued at £3.22m.

New contract wins mean that prospects are good for the current year. A joint venture with security and fire systems installer CSS Total Security Ltd is already winning contracts. Croma subsidiary Vigilant has won a contract worth £3.5m over three years. There are also two, three year residential contracts worth £500,000 a year.

The annual figures will be reported at the end of September.

James Dunion was appointed finance director in April.
