Cyan Holdings lost £4.47m in 2008 but it has won orders worth more than $1m so far this year.

The fabless semiconductor business generated revenues of £146,000 in 2008.

Cyan has developed a product range and now it has to show that it can generate significant revenues from it. The orders it has achieved will not make it profitable.

There was a cash outflow of £5.6m from operations. That left cash in the bank of £1.36m.

At 1.375p a share, up 0.33p on the day, Cyan is valued at £6.56m.
