Dawson International

Textiles manufacturer and distributor Dawson International hasn’t seen any upturn in the second half of the year.

That means that its full year figures will be worse than expected. The knitwear division is in line with expectations but its figures will be hit by the weak dollar. The yarns division hasn’t experienced the hoped for upturn in business.

The Dorma home furnishings business continues to struggle and there is no sign of any improvement.

Dawson did not comment on the bid talks with Lingwu Zhongyin Cashmere Company.

The shares dipped 0.5p to 2.625p.
