Imaging technology developer DDD Group wants to raise up to £1.5m in the first quarter of 2015.

DDD is also assessing opportunities to raise loans or enter into strategic partnerships. This cash will provide working capital and help to fund the Android version of the TriDef SmartCam solution. The KapChat application for social photography should be launched before the end of the year.

New products have received a positive reaction from customers and DDD is pinning its hopes on these. Discussions have started with customers in the tablet and smartphone markets and it hopes to obtain development and licence agreements.

Loss-making movie streaming service Yabazam has been closed and DDD has generated $1m of annualised savings that will benefit the current year.

The 2014 figures will be published in early May. DDD lost money on revenues of $2.54m.

At 3p a share, down 0.25p, DDD is valued at £4.3m.
