Deal Group Media has become the only approved digital media agency for Citibank Asia’s credit card business.
This is positive news considering that DGM has moved its focus to Asia. Citibank Asia wants to generate 10% of new credit card customers from the internet. The deal covers media planning and buying strategy.
DGM’s 2007 figures will show a reduced loss. Overseas operations grew while the UK business, which has been sold, made a reduced profit contribution.
Management believes that the business will start to generate cash during the first half of 2008.
The shares rose 0.25 to 1.625p.
