Discover Leisure

Caravans retailer Discover Leisure has rebranded all the Leisure World sites it bought last September under the Harringtons name.

Harringtons is the oldest established name in the sector so it makes sense to use this as the group’s retail brand. Discover’s management comes from the motor retail sector and it wants to consolidate the fragmented caravans market. It is also increasing the range of accessories that it sells. Management has integrated Leisure World and is ready to make more acquisitions. Net debt is £6.3m but Discover has 11.5 acres of freehold land valued at £6.4m – based on existing use. It could be worth more with planning permission for an alternative use.
