Essentially is buying Alec Stewart’s sports consultancy business.
The cricketer started Arundel Promotions with former Crystal Palace FC manager Alan Smith. It provides management services to Paul Collingwood, Ian Bell and Middlesbrough FC manager Gareth Southgate.
Essentially Group is a sports management group specialising in motor sport, cricket, football and rugby union. Essentially ‘s cricketing clients include Jacques Kallis, Ricky Ponting and Daniel Vittori.
Essentially will pay up to £325,000 for Arundel.
At 10.75p a share, Essentially is valued at £21.1m.
