Finsbury Food Group

Cakes and speciality breads maker Finsbury Food Group says that its sales are 9% ahead at £207m in the year to June 2012.

Sales of the bread and free from division grew 10% to £55m, helped by gluten free products. Exports helped the cake division to grow.

Consumer markets continue to be tough with price rises for sugar and eggs.  Improving efficiency is offsetting these cost rises.

At 29p a share, Finsbury Food is valued at £15.5m.
