Acceptances have fallen for Mentor Graphics’ bid for Flomerics Group.
The acceptance levels for the bid for the electronics simulation software provider have declined from 2.44% to 2.19% between the first and second closing dates. There is still a long way to go, though. There are just over three weeks until the final closing date.
Autodesk Inc has decided not to make a bid for Flomerics, which might make shareholders look more favourably on the Mentor bid.
The shares fell 4.5p to 101p, compared with the bid of 104p a share.
