Financial services software provider Focus Solutions is on course to make its full year forecast after winning a significant contract with AEGON.

Investment manager AEGON is taking advantage of Focus’ ecommerce expertise. The contract involves developing Scottish Equitable’s extranet service.

Focus had already said that revenues will exceed £4m in the six months to September 2007 thanks to a large contract with HSBC. The majority of the AEGON contract will be recognised in the rest of this financial year to March 2008.

Focus will release its interim figures in early December. Analysts expect full year profits to be £1.53m on turnover of £9.5m. The shares rose 4.5p to 48p, which puts them on a prospective PE of less than 10 and a yield of more than 2%.
