University intellectual property commercialisation services provider Frontier IP is raising £750,000 at 20p a share.

Frontier IP says that the cash will help to develop existing relationships, commitments to existing funds and investments and the establishment of sector specific funds.

Frontier IP is helping some of its portfolio companies to raise money and this should lead to fees and an increase in the book value of stakes. This will show through in the current financial year.

Sigma Capital has sold the remaining 600,000 shares it owned in Frontier IP.

At 23.25p a share, up 0.75p, the current share capital is valued at £4.37m.
