Enterprise content management software provider Geong International Ltd says that it has won or extended contracts worth RMB10m in the first five months of the financial year.

Insurance and manufacturing have been strong sectors for the company. Geong has won its first contract in Vietnam. Costs are being kept under control. A trading update will be published in the first week of November and interim figures one month later.

The order book was worth £14m at the end of March and included £5.6m of recurring revenues.

Revenues were 15% lower at £12.5m in the year to March 2010. This was lower than originally expected. The business shed was mainly low margin and underlying profit increased 30% to £2.6m.

At 34.5p a share, Geong is valued at £13.1m.
