Chairman and chief executive Bob Holt has bought additional shares in Green Compliance at just below the recent fundraising share price.

The water, fire and pest control compliance services provider raised £1.6m from the placing at 2p a share and wanted to raise up to £500,000 from a seven-for-10 open offer. The open offer ended up raising just over £200,000.

Holt acquired 500,000 shares at 1.9p each, taking his stake to 2.1m shares or 1.67% of Green Compliance. He also holds 3m warrants. Holt was previously non-executive chairman and he will not receive any additional remuneration for his role as chief executive for the next six months.

The share price rose 0.15p to 2.05p, which values the company at £2.58m.
