Hydro International

Delays in projects mean that the first half revenues of Hydro International will be lower than the same period in 2011.

This has knocked the share price which has slumped 26.5p to 113.5p, valuing Hydro at £16.3m.

The full year results of the wastewater and stormwater equipment supplier will be heavily second half weighted. Enquiry levels remain high and Hydro continues to attempt to expand internationally.

UK water companies are starting to ramp up their capital spending and sludge scraper contracts for Thames Water continue to make a significant contribution. The US wastewater operations are steady.

Investment in new build is weakening in the UK and this has hit the stormwater division. New products are helping to offset this. There has been a lack of new orders in the US.
