Cash machine advertising technology developer i-design says that Barclays and Cardtronics are both buying additional software licences.

Each of them is buying 1,500 licences. Cardtronics will use them to expand in the US and Canada. It recently won a contract with convenience store owner 7-Eleven in Canada.

Barclays will roll the software out to 1,500 more sites, taking the total to 5,500.

At 34.5p a share, up 4.25p, i-design is valued at £4.87m.
