Intelek’s full year figures will be “comfortably” ahead of expectations.

The shares jumped 2.75p to 17.75p on the news.

PCB manufacturer Labtech returned to profit in the second half. Satellite amplifiers maker Paradise Datacom improved its profits even though it was hit by the weak dollar. The non-core aerostructures business also improved its performance.

Analysts had been expecting full year profits of £3m. That would have put the shares on less than eight times earnings.

The full year figures for the year to March 2008 will be published on 9 June.
