IT recruiter InterQuest Group says that activity levels have increased in the first five months of 2010.

Demand is improving in the financial services sector. Fee income in the fourth quarter of 2009 was 40% higher than the average for the previous three quarters and this level has been maintained in 2010. Overall visibility of future business is not as good in the past.

The newer businesses are all making good progress. An in-house training programme called iQad has been launched.

At 66.5p a share, up 3p on the day, InterQuest is valued at £21.4m.
