Call centre software and services provider IPPlus reported a sharp rise in profit for the year to June 2012.

Revenues grew from £5.25m to £6.75m, while the pre-tax profit jumped from £39,000 to £331,000. This includes a £40,000 profit on an investment in Commercial Finance Brokers (UK) Ltd.

The figures include a full 12 month contribution from document storage company Ancora Solutions, which was acquired in January 2011, but its contribution was disappointing after it lost a major contract.

At 10.75p a share, up 0.75p, IPPlus is valued at £3.41m. Net cash was £164,000 at the end of June 2012.

Since the year end, IPPlus’ CallScripter product has won an order for 230 licences for a European banking client.
