Virtual queuing technology developer Lo-Q is adding to its range of products through the purchase of Text-Q Reservatiuons.

Lo-Q is paying cash and shares for Text-Q, which enables people to reserve a place in the line for attractions via their mobile phone. An additional fee is charged by the venue for the service. The technology is already used in the London Dungeon. The service is ideal for smaller attractions.

The exact cost of the acquisition wasn’t mentioned although it includes the issue of 125,000 shares and part of the cost is deferred.

Lo-Q recently changed its broker and nominated adviser from Blue Oar to Arbuthnot.
