Shares in Lo-Q continued to climb after the virtual queuing technology developer announced that its Q-txt queue management system is being installed at the Lake Compounce Theme Park in Connecticut in the US.

This is the first US installation for Q-txt and it will be completed in May. There is a one year agreement extendable to four years. Lake Compounce has over 700,000 visitors annually.

At 122.5p a share, up 7.5p on the day, Lo-Q is valued at £19.6m. The share price has risen by one-third over the past month.

Lake Compounce is owned by Palace Entertainment which operates seven theme parks and 10 water parks in the US. It is part of the Parques Reunidos family of theme parks, which already uses Lo-Q technology in Mirabilandia at Ravenna in Italy.
