LPA Group has won two important contracts in February.

The latest is a £500,000 order for lighting equipment for the Victoria Line. That brings the total order value for work on the Victoria Line to £3m.

This follows a £4.7m order for LED lighting for a fleet of trains in Sydney, Australia.

The designer and manufacturer of lighting, power and electronic systems says it has a record order book.

LPA’s revenues slipped from £16.7m to £15.1m, while profits dipped from £463,000 to £382,000. Net debt was £1.84m.

A final dividend of 0.4p a share took the total for the year to 0.9p a share.

LPA’s net asset value was £4.84m at the end of September 2008, or £3.61m excluding intangible assets.

At 34p a share, LPA is valued at £3.89m.
