Promotions company MKM is paying up to £650,000 for London-based marketing and communications business Promodus.
Management believes that Promodus will widen the range of services offered by MKM’s core business. So it is not the second leg to the group that the management is looking for. Promodus made an operating profit of £68,000 on sales of £943,000 in 2006.
MKM has renewed longstanding contracts and won additional business. It has launched ecologically friendly promotions under the ‘Green Suite’ brand. The integration of Australian business Leapfrog is on track. It is continuing to win new business.
Founder Mark Koch moves from chief executive to executive deputy chairman and he will be in charge of global business development.
