Recruitment agency Norman Broadbent is heading towards profitability.
In 2018, revenues were two-fifths higher at £9.2m, which is a record for the past decade. Group net fee income was one-third higher at £6.6m. The loss was reduced from £1.6m to £700,000.
The fastest growth came in the interim management business, which doubled revenues last year, and the rest of the activities are also growing rapidly. Executive search no longer dominates the group.
There should be a further fall in the loss this year.
