Motion capture software provider OMG says that its turnover will be more than £30.5m in the year to September 2010.

Pre-tax profit will be well ahead of expectations of £1.4m. There has been strong demand from the film industry. The local authority asset surveying business in the UK is doing well but the US side of this business is still losing money. The £1.9m of goodwill relating to the US operation may be written down.

There is £6.2m in the bank.

The full year figures will be published on 2 December.

At 37p a share, OMG is valued at £25.3m. The shares have risen by one-third in the past week.
