Shares in Papua Mining rose by more than one-fifth by the end of the first day’s trading.
Gold and copper explorer Papua Mining raised £7m at 44p a share. The share price has risen to 55.5p a share.
Papua Mining has £6.2m left after expenses and this will be used to develop the company’s exploration projects.
Papua Mining (http://www.papuamining.com) has exploration licences in two main areas of Papua New Guinea: Ambunti and New Britain.
