Health and environmental services consultancy PHSC is buying a food safety and hygiene consultancy.
It is paying £300,000, of which £200,000 is payable on completion of the deal, for In House The Hygiene Management Company Ltd. There is also the possibility of an additional payment depending on future profits.
In House advises hospitals, schools and hotels on food safety and hygiene as well as providing consultancy and training. The business will be managed by the RSA Environmental Health’s Midlands office.
In House’s turnover in the six months to 30 June 2007 was £196,000, and it made pre- tax profits of £56,000.
