Temporary and permanent healthcare staff provider Pinnacle Staffing Group says that it is undertaking a strategic review which could lead to a sale of the company.

This sparked a 1p rise in the share price to 3.5p, which values Pinnacle at £3.24m. Pinnacle’s NAV was £8.73m in early July 2009. That is mainly made up of goodwill and intangible assets, such as contracts.

Revenues fell from £19.9m to £19.3m in the six months to early July 2009. The pre-tax loss fell from £6.23m to £425,000. Stripping out amortisation and intangible write-offs, the loss was slightly higher.
