Online advertising sales company Pixel Interactive Media says trading is in line with expectations and it is starting to generate business relating to the Beijing Olympics.

Hong Kong-based Pixel says that advertising spending is migrating from traditional media outlets to online media. This has helped it build on its strong market positions in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The 2008 Beijing Olympics will help to continue the growth in online advertising. Major corporations are already rolling out Olympic-themed campaigns and they will become more prevalent in the run up to the event.

Despite the positive statement the shares were unchanged at 37.5p.
