Property investor and developer Inland has launched a £11.1m bid for Poole Investments.
Inland is offering 6p a share for Poole Investments, which owns valuable land in the Poole area. Inland’s own stake is 8.6% and combined with acceptances it now has 23.5% of Poole Investments.
Aim-quoted Judges Capital owns 5.7m shares in Poole Investments. The cash proceeds will be £342,000 and the pre-tax gain will be £142,000. Judges holds this stake because it used to be an activist investor. It is now a scientific instruments manufacturer.
