Premier Direct has appointed a turnaround specialist to its board.
Aidan Scott Condie is described as having “in-depth experience of assisting companies facing operational issues”. He has turned around Anglo Austrian Patisserie, Fisco Tools and Citech Energy Systems. However, he can’t be expected to be successful every time and he has his failures as well.
Condie’s decision to take up the non-executive directorship must mean he believes that there is a chance to improve the fortunes of shopping-at-work company Premier Direct, which is running short of cash.
The shares remain suspended.
