Construction and property recruitment company Prime People has continued to grow in the second half of its financial year.

Net fee income increased 30% to £14.1m in the year to March 2008. This rate of growth is lower than the 45% increase in the first half but it is still an impressive figure. International income now accounts for 24% of the total, against 10% the previous year. International income will continue to be increasingly important.

The figures are in line with expectations. Arbuthnot’s estimates that the 2007-08 profit will be £2.28m.

The shares rose 2.5p to 75p on the back of the trading statement. That means that they are trading on six times 2007-08 estimated earnings.

The full year figures will be released in the week beginning 2 June.
