Proton Power Systems is raising a further £60,000 at 10p a share.

This is on top of the £2m at 10p a share that has already been announced. The latest share issue is dependent on the fuel cell company getting shareholder approval to issue more shares.

Turquoise Capital, a company in which Proton non-executive director Ali Naini is a director and majority shareholder, is subscribing for the new shares. This will take Ali Naini’s stake in Proton to 2.09%.

Proton shares dipped 0.25p to 9p.
