Sagentia Group joined Aim after becoming the new holding company of the Switzerland-based technology consultancy of the same name.

Sagentia Group plc was formed to acquire fully listed, Switzerland-based Sagentia Group AG. One plc share was swapped for every 10 AG shares. So far acceptances of 93.7% of the Swiss company’s share capital have been received.

The business is an international technology consultancy. The main focus is on UK, US, Germany and China. Sagentia was formerly known as Generics. It has helped form a number of companies including Aim-quoted fuel cell developer CMR Fuel Cells.

Sagentia joined Aim on 8 July 2008. The previous closing price of Sagentia Group AG was 4.5p so the effective Aim introduction price was 45p.

Sagentia is valued at £9.1m at 45p a share.
