SciSys has won a £10m plus contract to supply audio editing and playout solutions to the BBC.
The IT consultancy and services provider will supply these solutions across the BBC and the framework agreement will last from 2009 to 2013. The estimated contract value range is £10m to £15m.
The deal enables the BBC to have a single, scalable and connectable system across the organisation. The audio system will integrate with other systems.
The BBC has been a customer for several years.
The shares rose 3.75p to 43p each on the news, which values SciSys at £12.2m.
