SciSys says that it intends to reinstate dividends when it reports its 2009 interims.
The management of the IT services business says that this year’s first half figures are in line with expectations. Recent contract wins from the BBC and Environment Agency provide a good base for the full year. Profits of £200,000 are forecast for 2009, rising to £1.6m in 2010.
The interim dividend is expected to be “modest”. The interim figures will be published in September.
At 41p a share, SciSys is valued at £11.7m.
